Hatchet 3 is Hatchet's horror film of 2013. It follows the murderous adventures of Victor Crowley across Louisiana's Honey Island Swamp. Kane Hodder plays Victor Crowley and Brian Quinn is Deputy Winslow. Rileah Vanderbilt plays Misty.



The movie's special effects are its biggest strengths. Hatchet 3 uses a lot less CG effects than other horror films. This allows some truly frightening moments to be recorded in the movie.

The cast delivers a strong performance, with Kane Hodder being the most terrifying villain. There are also some hilarious moments that stand out in all the heart-wrenching scenes.

Due to the small budget (1 million dollars), many of the locations are duplicates of earlier films. Hatchet 2's boat house was only used once and the remainder of the footage seems like it's been reused from previous films. It can feel almost familiar to those who've seen Hatchet or Hatchet 2.

Overall, Hatchet 3 was enjoyable, even though it felt very similar in tone to previous installments in the series. It provided lots of gory thrills as well as entertaining performances by the actors.
